Demonstrators remained at the housing protest camp in Praça D. João I, after voting during a public assembly to continue the occupation beyond the authorized protest period. Protesters formed human chains around the tents and clashes occurred as officers dismantled the camp. Following the operation, demonstrators regrouped at Avenida dos Aliados in front of Porto City Hall, where the protest continued.
