September 11, 2025, Mexico, Cdmx, Mexico: Yesterday, beneath La Concordia Bridge, a trailer carrying a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) container overturned in the Iztapalapa region of Mexico City. This accident caused the gas to leak, causing a massive fire that left at least 94 people with serious burns and eight dead. At the scene of the accident, members of the City Attorney General's Office carried leer más out forensic examinations. During this work, civilians placed a small memorial with flowers, candles, and a photograph of a young man who lost his life and for the others who were burned and died. Later, people arrived at the scene to provide support in various ways, and a group of nurses assisted the workers who cleaned, painted, and monitored the electric public transportation infrastructure. The Concordia Bridge serves as the entrance and exit for the Mexico-Puebla highway, where further down the road there is an LP gas company responsible for supplying this flammable material.
