Protests in Belgium

08 October 2026, Belgium, Liege: Police patrols Saint-Lambert in Liege city center, as a protest against education reforms and budget cuts has been going on for several days. For several days protests turned violent, mainly due to rioters who vandalize the city centre and face police. The city of Liege announced a ban of gathering of more than three minors on public space, unless with a responsible leer más adult, to prevent the gathering of rioters who have nothing to do with the original movement.
