Ucrania.- El exministro de Energía de Ucrania acusado en el caso 'Midas' sale de prisión al pagar 2,9 millones de euros

February 17, 2026, Kyiv, Ukraine: Former Ukrainian Minister of Energy German Galushchenko, a suspect in the Midas case, attends a bail hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC), Kyiv, Ukraine, February 17, 2026. The court ordered Galushchenko to be held in custody with the option of posting UAH 200 million bail. During the hearing, prosecutor Ivan Diachuk of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutorâ€s Office requested detention with an alternative bail of UAH 425.984 million and mandatory electronic monitoring. According to the prosecutor, Galushchenko faces 7 to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. Investigators allege he was involved in money laundering and participation in an organized criminal group linked to corruption schemes in the energy sector.
