Lituania.- Un tribunal de Lituania condena a siete años de prisión a una pareja por espiar para Bielorrusia

July 7, 2025, Budzisko, Poland: The Lithuanian flag is seen waving near the Polish - Lithuanian border crossing in Budzisko. Poland has temporarily reinstated border controls along its frontiers with Germany and Lithuania, citing security concerns amid accusations from far-right groups about illegal migrant transfers. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration said that the new controls will last for an initial period of 30 days, though authorities have not ruled out extending them. The border with Lithuania, which stretches 104 kilometers (65 miles), will see checks in 13 locations, with three operating around the clock. Polandâ€s border with Germany, 467 kilometers (290 miles) long, will have controls at 52 crossing points. The controls will be selective and limited, aimed at increasing oversight of people entering the country. Border Guards will carry out the checks, supported by police, Territorial Defense Forces, and Military Police. Pressure has mounted in recent weeks from far-right groups who allege that Germany is transporting illegal migrants into Polish territory after they reach Western Europe.
