Bangladesh.- Al menos 23 muertos tras caer un autobús al río Padma en Bangladesh

July 8, 2025, Jazira, Shariatpur, Bangladesh: In Jazira, Shariatpur district of Bangladesh, sudden river erosion along the Padma Bridge protection embankment has devoured at least 10 houses and business establishments. In a matter of moments, homes are collapsing into the river right before the eyes of riverside residents, most of whom had no time to save their belongings. Desperate to protect their last possessions, people are dismantling their homes and relocating them to safer areas. Geo-bags are being dumped temporarily in an effort to halt the erosion. Notably, the Padma River is considered one of the most erosion-prone rivers in the world.
