March 5, 2026, Seattle, Washington, USA: The four Gray Wolves (Canis Lupus), a subspecies of Mexican Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi), at the Woodland Park Zoo are curious and social by nature. This was on full display today. The brothers came to the PNW last fall and have settled in nicely. They have even struck up an unlikely friendship with the Elk (Cervus canadensis) next door.
