South Sudan refugee crisis

March 20, 2024, Joda, South Sudan: A woman loads a suitcase onto a truck taking people fleeing from Sudan's war from Joda, on the Sudanese border, to Renk in South Sudan, where they will stay in a transit camp before they are transported further into the country. Around 1,000 South Sudanese returnees and Sudanese refugees are crossing the border from Sudan to South Sudan every day. Sudan's war, which leer más began in April 2023, has resulted in the world's largest displacement crisis.
