DDHH.- Cerca de 50.000 mujeres y niñas fueron víctimas de feminicidio en 2024 en el mundo, con 137 asesinadas cada día

March 8, 2025, Nezahualcoyotl, State Of Mexico, Mexico: During the celebration of International Women's Day #8M, feminist collectives marched through the streets of Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl with pink crosses and with relatives of victims of femicides and disappearances to demand an end to violence against women, to the femicides that occurred in this Municipality and to the decentralization of the problem because it is focused on Mexico City, leaving women in the periphery without support or accompaniment; the State of Mexico has a double gender alert, one for femicides and another for disappearances since 2015, being the most dangerous place in all of Mexico for women.
