02 September 2026, Nepal, Kathmandu: Families who have lost hope of finding loved ones missing in the Rasuwa floods are creating funeral effigies out of kaas-kush (sacred grass) to perform their final rites. On Wednesday, dozens of these effigies were cremated in a mass funeral at Pashupati Aryaghat.
