Teachers Continue Blockades In Mexico City

May 29, 2026, Mexico City, Cdmx, Mexico: The National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) continues its blockades in the streets of downtown Mexico City. The teachers are pressuring the government of Claudia Sheinbaum, threatening to protest on the opening day of the 2026 FIFA World Cup if it does not repeal the ISSSTE law, increase salaries, and address other demands.
