First Female Prime Minister Sushila Karki in Nepal

14 September 2025, Nepal, Kathamandu: Newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki formally assumes office at Singha Durbar on Sunday. Appointed following the Gen Z-led protests, Karki heads the interim government tasked primarily with conducting elections.
